The Canadian Coordinating Office for Health Technology Assessment (CCOHTA)
has just released the 2nd edition of _Guidelines for Economic Evaluation of
Pharmaceuticals: Canada_. The Guidelines provide a standard framework for
pharmaceuticals study design and reporting format and are directed at
researchers who conduct health economic evaluations. The report "focuses on
key areas of significant development in theory and/or methodology such as
cost-benefit analysis, equity, utilities, and treatment comparators." [THN]
