The United States Government Manual database contains comprehensive information on the agencies of the legislative, judicial and executive branches. The Manual also includes information on quasi-official agencies; international organizations in which the United States participates; and boards, commissions and committees. This database is accessible via the World Wide Web, SWAIS, and through WAIS client software. Detailed instructions for access follow the database description. Pull down the Edit menu and select the Select Sources menu item; 3. Click on the button labeled New; 4. Fill in the name, host and database fields using the information provided above; 5. Fill in the database description (optional); 6. Click the OK button in the Edit WAIS Source Definition Window; 7. Click on the OK button in the Selected WAIS Sources Window. B.
