William Goetzmann, professor of Finance and Real Estate at Yale University,
has created An Introduction to Investment Theory, a hyper-text book
available on the web. It covers portfolio theory, the tradeoff between risk
and return, diversification, and modern asset pricing models. This book's
intended audience are masters students taking Introductory Finance.
Professor Goetzmann also provides nine case studies in investment
